Okay basically i have to create a event log , is there any projects out there that i can reference.

Also what are some good questions i can ask pertaining to this event log .

to gather all of the requirements successfully.

Basically one of my requirements is to define critical bit errors, can someone also direct to a site about the different Built in test like IBIT, MIT, what does I, M mean and so on

any guidance to a starting point

ok more notes, i have to open a text file basically, and then store the results into a database. to compare whats going on. so the event log i know how to do. its the database i got to get familiar with , is there any projects i can reference regarding databases

I would recommend using the SQL toolkit if you need database communication. You can find more information in the toolkit reference manual, located here:
