The Demo Version Popup problem

I have an active developers license for CVI and I keep getting the Demo version timeout popup.  How do I get rid of this message?

Hi BL,

In National Instruments License Manager (Start > All Program > National Instruments >NI License Manager), if you expand your LabWindows/CVI listing, what color square is next to the different flavors of CVI (Base and Full Development)?

If it is not green (indicating an activated copy), try right clicking and selecting "Activate".

Hope this helps BL. Let us know.

Hello BLLockheed,

Did you develop or start developing your application before activating LabWindows/CVI?  A limitation of the evaluation version (non-activated) version of LabWindows/CVI is that you have a 10 minute timeout on applications and DLLs.  After activating LabWindows/CVI, you must rebuild any project your created in evaluation mode.  If you do not, the project will continue to have a 10-minute run-time timeout.

Definitely followup if this problem persists

I have a similar issue with Teststand 2.0 and CVI version 7.1. I have re-created all of the CVI DLLs but the message still persists. I also call Labview VI and I have saved then using a registered version of Labview to try and resolve this issue.

So my question is this. Is there any other issues that can cause this box to be displayed. Or even what DLL is causing this issue

Thanks in advance.

Hi vlad57,

What activations do you see under CVI in National Instruments License Manager?
