Ridiculous errors in "extcode.h"

From what LabVIEW or CVI version does this extcode.h file come? The fact that you have no problem on an XP machine while running into problems on a W7 system could hint at the fact that you have different versions of Windows SDK headers installed on those systems. extcode.h is a continous effort from NI where they try to catch and battle conflicts with new system API headers from more than 5 different platforms (Windows, MacOS X, Linux, Pharlap ETS, VxWorks). Unfortunately the "big" NI has no way of going to Microsoft or Apple and telling them that they can't use a specific symbol in their system header because NI has older usage rights on that symbol! Zealot,

Very true. Just looking for ideas on where to go.

FYI.

Because this is a legacy program being ported over to a Win7 machine, I am using older versions of NI software because it is what worked.

Labwindows/CVI 8.1.1

Labview 8.5.1

This is what I have been told by the people who developed the system I need to use. However I really hate Labwindows/CVI 8 and would like a better version. I may try a newer version and see if this goes away.

Mike
