Problem creating a Report

Hi,

I had downloaded the example codes of Report Generating (wordrpt.c, etc) but when i ran the program i can open the app, but i can not open the word file (widget.doc). I get Word 2000.

Anyone know how can i make this work?

Hello Marcelo,

So to clarify the behavior you are seeing, do you get an error message when you run the wordrpt shipping example and click on Run Tests then Generate Word Report (<cvi install dir>\samples\activex\word\wordrpt.prj)? When are you receiving an error message and what error are you receiving?  The widget.doc file should be located in the wordrpt project directory.
