Pass Variables Then Create A Text/Data File

Can someone point me to or include an example LabWindows/CVI 2013 .c file which will read 2 local variables from TestStand and save the file as a .txt or .dat file? The name of the file will come from one of the two variables passed in from TestStand. We use TestStand 2014.
