Hi,

As per the data sheet MPLAB_C18_Users_Guide_51288j.pdf the float limit is 2128 * (2-2-15) ˜ 6.80564693e + 38
However, When we execute with MPLAB compiler and execute a range check we are getting the maximum value as  2128 * (2-2-15) ˜ 6.80564693e + 37

Can I know the reason please.?

Please confirm our observation.

Krishna,

Are you using any National Instruments products?  I believe that your question would be best directed to Microchip, who (I believe) makes the MPLAB IDE: http://support.microchip.com.  Additionally, you can look in the Users Guide that you're dealing with in the "Worldwide Sales and Support" section for specific offices.

If you are in fact using a National Instruments products, let us know which one so that we can appropriately address the issue.
