I have two PCI 8431 cards installed in my PC (A8N-SLI Motherboard) running Windows XP. I am recieving data on 16 out of the 18 channels at a rate of ~500K bits per second. I keep getting a Hardware Overrun error if I collect data for a extended amount of time. I noticed that the 8431 cards are setup to run on IRQs. National advertises these card to run using DMA. How do I make these cards use DMA channels instead of interrupts.
