hello, 

I'm working on pxi 6542. I download the driver NI digital waveform generator/analyser need it. Later, i need to configure it and test it in MAX. The problem is my device 6542 doesn't appear under NI-DAQmx Devices, MAX did not detect the device. I have read the manual, it said just refresh MAX but i tried many times still not working..

Any help please

The 6542 is not a DAQmx device and as such you will not be able to see it as DAQmx device in NI-MAX.

You first need to install the NI-HSDIO driver software and the device will then be visible in NI-MAX as an IVI device, not a DAQmx device.

I already installed HSDIO but i dont know how can appear in IVI DEVICE only i can see pxi50... not pxi65...

Read my response again. I assumed this was a DAQmx device since you claimed the manual said to look there, but it’s not. You need the NI-HSDIO drivers installed instead.
