LabWindows GPIB Drivers for Keithley 220 Programmable Current Source wanted!

So far I hav only been able to find LabView drivers for the 220. I am using it along with the 181 which has only LabWindows drivers, so I would be grateful if anyone has a LabWindows driver for the 220 so I can run them both off 1 computer.

You could find a driver for this instrument at http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/default.htm . If it's not listed there, it leaves you with one of a couple options. First, I would like you to submit a request for this driver at: http://zone.ni.com/idnet97.nsf/instrumentdriverrequest/
We develop drivers based on demand and popularity so the more requests we have for it, the greater the possibility that we will develop one.
If you would like to try developing your own instrument driver (or modify the existing one), we have documentation, model instrument drivers, and driver templates to help at :
http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/development.htm
We also have a syndicate of third party vendors that specialize in National Instruments' products and services. Some of
the vendors specialize in driver development. I would suggest contacting one of the Alliance members at:

Ferret,

Unfortunately, the LabVIEW driver in IDNet for the Keithley 220 is unsuitable to be converted into a DLL. It is a single VI for a basic configuration of the instrument.

Keithley distributes a more recent LabVIEW driver that you may be able to convert into a DLL. You would need to build a shared library in LabVIEW using the "Build Application or Shared Library (DLL)..." option from the Tools menu.

Alternatively, you can submit a request for a LabWindows/CVI instrument driver through our request database. Your request may be consid
ered for development. We try to develop instrument drivers according to popularity. Unfortunately, we cannot develop instrument drivers for all the requests we receive.

If you would like to try developing your own instrument driver, we have documentation, model instrument drivers, and driver templates to help you in your development. You can find this information on our web site http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/development.htm.

Thanks,
Bankim Tejani
