Installation kit and Windows version compatability

here is my question: If I have a distribution kit made in Labwindows 7, what version of Windows will it install and run on, and the same question for Labwindows CVI 8?

 I believe that the answers are Windows XP for Labwindows 7 and Windows 2000 for labwindows 8. I found some forum messages that indicate this, but I would really like to see some kind of official NI documentation. I cannot find anything after much searching of the entire NI site.

Hi kmagas,

You can always looked at the Supported Operating Systems for LabWindows/CVI KnowledgeBase as these versions cover both the IDE and the Run-Time Engine. Use that document as a guide as to what OSs you can install your dist kit on.
