IVI drivers

I installed a LabWindows program into another computer we using for testing. It was unable to connect to a HP function generator. I opened MAX and realized I had not created a driver session or a logical name (my program opens the device using the logical name). My problem is in the Configuration Window under "My System" I do not have an IVI Drivers category listed so I cannot configure the device. It is like I did not install the IVI on this computer. I thought the CVI distribution I created to install the application would take care of that.

My questions:

How would I install IVI on this test computer?

What do I need to do to my CVI distribution files so this IVI business will be installed automatically?

Hello,
You could check to see the software you have installed in your previous computer.
You will need NI-VISA and prehaps the NI-488.2, you can find the IVI drivers here.

Now you can go through the steps shown in this article.
