How do I register an ActiveX server for use from LabWindows?

I am trying to control another app on my machine having created an fp with the Tools->ActiveX controller menu. However when I try to launch and control a new application instance using the fp driver I just made, nothing happens. Do I have to separately register the application I'm trying to control? Isn't this already done since LabWindows gave me a list of all servers in the ActiveX wizard? Any suggestions or help please.

Hello,
The list in the wizard shows only the registered controls, so if you were able to create the instrument driver for your ActiveX control, that means it has been already registered. Most probably the way you are using the functions are not correct...
