How can I get a CVI application (created in Windows) to run in Linux?

I'm trying to run a CVI application created in Windows on a Linux box. I'm assuming I have to compile it specifically to run on Linux, just not sure how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello CRC,

Unfortunately, applications created in CVI (Win32)cannot run on a Linux platform. You would have to create the application in the Linux environment. Currently, NI does not have CVI ported for Linux, but we are monitoring demand for this product.

There is a version of CVI supported on Windows and Sun Solaris. In order to get Sun applications to run on Linux, you would also have to port it. I would recommend looking over at Sun's website or your linux distribution's website to see if there are any utilities or applications that allow you to run Sun apps on your linux environment.
