Can't configure a device in Measurement & Automation Explorer

Greetings,

Wondering if someone has encountered this before/recently: I have Measurement & Automation Explorer open and connect a USB-6002 device. It detects it and displays it in the tree under "Devices and Interfaces". But from there I can do nothing with it; can't rename it, no Reset, Self-test, Test Panels, Create Task, Device Pinout tabs. See images attached. Also, right-clicking on the device name under Devices and Interfaces does nothing.

 I tried resetting the configuration data but no change. The version of NI-MAX is 20.0.0f0. As shown in the second image, on a different computer the same version works as expected.

Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?

Nevermind; figured it out. UGGHHH. I had connected the device to the docking station USB port. On a whim/hunch I moved it to a native USB port on the computer and now it is working as expected.
Would not have suspected it would matter.

BTW, the drivers for the docking station are current.
