CVI linux on hold ?

Hello all,
I've using CVI for linux regularly and plan on using it exclusively for some
new projects... I've asked our supplier for a more recent and less buggy
version than last year's 8.0-6 but he said that it's not currently the
priority...

Anybody knows when a new version is coming out ? there are a few bugs in it
that are annoying... (reported here months ago).

Hi Guillaume,
Thanks for your feedback, and although I cannot comment on plans as to whether or not CVI/Linux is on hold, I will say that the odds of seeing a change are increased through filling out Product Suggestion and to keep letting NI know that you would like to see an upgrade to the CVI Linux Runtime Module to match the current version of CVI.

Another CVI for Linux user that thinks the product will not be viable if it is not maintained in sync with the windows version.

At this point,  I'll be skipping CVI 9 unless there is a near simutaneous CVI for Linux 9.

I'm okay if there is some unsync between the two OSes, as long as the bug
get fixed in due time...

We want to work with you to make sure that those bugs are addressed in a reasonable time frame. Would you mind including here, in this forum thread, a prioritized list of those bugs?
