3D Graph Component works re-distribution

We are working with 3D Graphs (CW) from in Labwindows CVI 6.0. When we make a CDK and install it we get an error. Manually registering the 3dgraph ocx gives the message that we are using an evaluation copy. How can we get the 3Dgraph component correctly registered on the customers PC (WIN95). The customer doesn't have CVI or C++ installed. (He just wants to run the EXE.)

There are a couple of situations when using ComponentWorks controls that require an atypical development of an installer. One of these situations involves distributing the 3D Graph control to a Windows 95 environment. You must redistribute two specific DLLs (opengl.dll and glu32.dll) along with your program in this particular case. These two files can be found in the Redist\MeasurementStudio\UnpackagedFiles directory of your Measurement Studio CD.

There is another special case, if you are using any of the User Interface controls, which requires the redistribution of mesa.dll, which can also be found in that same directory.

There are several of these situations that are detailed in your
Measurement Studio Help Reference. From the Contents main, select Visual Basic Help » Tutorials » Distributing and Installing... and you will find several notes about creating proper distribution kits using the ComponentWorks controls, including the two notes that I mentioned above.
