xy-graph with unequal scaling of x-axis - possible?

Hello,

is it possible to generate an unequal scaling of the x-axis of an xy-graph?

Normally, the scaling of the axis is equal:

Is it possible, to generate an unequal scaling (see red parts)?

graph_unequal_scaling.png

Why?

I want to give the user the ability to have a zoomed look of the data, without loosing the whole graph. I know, that zooming is possible with the graph palette.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

yes, that's possible with a XY graph.

Just use a different spacing between your x values…

I'm sorry, I just read your message again. No, you cannot have different scalings mixed on your x axis.

Workaround: create your own XY graph by using the 2D picture indicator and all the functions used to create 2D images…

Best regards,
GerdW
