windows service

I read the tutorial explaining how to build a windows service (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3185).

But, I am a beginner in LabView technology, and consequently, my getCookieClient.vi (figure 5) didn't work.

Somebody could help me or post the code?

I am using labview 8.0

Thank you

Hi,

We've downloaded a microsoft tool: Windows Server 2003 Resourcekit Tools, from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9d467a69-57ff-4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&DisplayLang=en

This packages has a commandline tool called srvany.exe in it. You can use the tool to make a service from any exe (including Labview.exe, and home made Labview executables). There is also a help file in the package that explains how it works.

Regards,

Wiebe.
