when i plot a signal on waveform chart and set the amplitude range so, it  changes when i drag it with mouse but i want it to remain fix even if i drag it with mouse . any suggestions ? i am stuck with it.

Hi Shaun,

set the Y range using property nodes of the chart back to your "fixed setting" whenever they change…

(Or prohibit mouse dragging for the chart content. 😉 )

you could filter mouse events.

Or you could place a transparent decoration on top of your chart…

... Or you can make a filter event for Mouse down? on the chart, checking the active tool. So when active tool is the panning tool, discard the mouse down.
