voltage output to Optocoupler using UMI-7764

Hi friends,

is it right to output voltage(say 1.2V) to an Optocoupler thru UMI-7764 AO/AOGND-Canal.
am using Optocoupler to switch(control)  forward/backward/stop-movements of our Screw-press machine.

Gerald,

could you please be a bit more specific with your question? What type of motion control board are you using? What's your concern? Do you want to know how to set the analog outputs programmatically or are they driven by the DSP on the board? Is this a question about the current sourcing capabilities of the AOs?
