visa 260 installation error

Error when automatically installing VISA260 with the labVIEW 6.1 application builder.

I get the following error when I use the option: “Run executable after installation” to automatically install the VISA 260 runtime drivers.
“ERROR
Another installer is currently running.
This installer cannot proceed until it has completed.”

I have reinstalled the windows installer, tried the VISA260full package, but without any results.

When I close/cancel the visa260 installation, the labVIEW installer is indeed still active.

Does anyone have a solution for my problem?

The reason for this behaviour is related to the Microsoft Windows Installer that the AB uses. Check this Knowledgebase for further informations:
