virtualization software

Anyone have any luck with virtualization software with LabVIEW? I am playing around with VMware workstation. I am also trying out application virtualization software. Drivers seem to be a problem with this approach so far. May be a year away from being a useable solution. It seems like there are several different companies coming out with products in the next few months. Of course, it would be nice of NI could make it so we could load new versions without overwriting our old versions and keep them separate. How do they do it for beta testing? Do people just dedicate a PC for testing? You would not want to corrupt your current version. My goal is to be able to support as many possible older versions as possible without jumping through to many hoops.

Hi Ernie,

you can run several LV versions in parallel - just look at my signature...

(There are only problems with [some] toolkits/modules, where only the recent one will be installed...)
