30 frames per second bitmap is an awful lot to expect from anything, especially without compression.

Considering that most motion picture animation is 24 frames per second, and most decent television animation is 12 fps, I would recommend considering a lower frame rate.

Now, as far as having LabVIEW display this, you will probably have to benchmark this. I suggest either using a picture control, or just a media player activeX control. Gradually increase your framerate.

I also suggest looking into "streaming video" resources online. Additionally, contact your National Instruments sales rep, they can probably do some research for you as well.

Good luck
