I've written an app in labview which analyses PAL video footage at the field level. To do this I have to save the video as a series of graphics files and then load them one at a time using an IMAQ function. My question is, is it possible to load a frame (ideally a field) directly from the video footage (mpeg) from within labview? This would save me a lot of messing about with the video before I got to actually analysing it.
Any ideas?

Try to search on the net some tools to convert MPEG to a series of BMPs or something else (for example, you can do it with 3DStudio but is not the cheapest solution ... 🙂 ). Another solution could be screen capture, but not elegant at all.
