I have two diode lasers (635 nm & 750 nm) to be controlled and I have two photodiodes for acquiring a signal using NI DAQ 6002.
I am relatively new for LabVIEW could someone help me out with the vi layout. Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hello,
I am sort of doing the similar kind of stuff as you mentioned. Herein, I am working on a project wherein, I two diode laser sources (635 nm & 750 nm) to be controlled and I have two photodiodes as detector for acquiring a signal using DAQ 6002.
I am relatively new for LabVIEW could someone help me out with the vi layout. Your help will be highly appreciated.

I guess you need to use two digital outputs to "control the lasers" and two analog inputs to "acquire signals".
LabVIEW comes with a huge list of example VIs, found in the example finder. There are a lot of examples for DAQmx functions, which you need to use with your USB6002.
What have you tried and where are you stuck?

Hi GredW,
Many thanks for reaching out to me. Currently we are in the stage of procuring these hardware components such as laser diode, photodiode, fiber switch, filters, and DAQ 6002. Once we have them by next week we need to start building the logic. I am quite new to LabVIEW and using it for very first time and I do not have any idea on how to start with these ones. Really, I need assistance for this. And I am actively looking for someone to help me out. Could you please help me on this? If yes, we can get connected. Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards,
mkulkarni

You sound like you need to just start the basic LabVIEW courses just to get a general feeling of it all, because right now you don't even know the right questions to ask.
Do any of the components you mention besides the DAQ 6002 have a PC interface? Lasers generally have a laser driver, either using PC control or an analog voltage input, and some of the other components you mention could be either purely mechanical or externally controllable depending on your setup.

Hi M405,
I'd be glad to help out.
Is this for school, capstone project?

Kyle97330,
Yes, you are right, I need to start basic LabVIEW courses. For laser diode control we have a driver unit and for photodiode, we have an external controlling setup for the PC interface. Now, I need help in building the vi logic for my application which has a source and detector for capturing the image from an ultrasound probe. I have attached the schematic of the overall process.
If required I can send you the block diagram and specifications of the components for your reference.

GRCK5000,
Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, I need your help in building the logic. It's a research project. I can send you the schematic representation of this proposed project.

Yes, please share the flowchart or how the state machine should be.
Once you share it, work begins.
I'll be waiting.

I'll send you soon currently I am procuring all the components such as laser diode, photodiode and USB DAQ. Once I receive them I will send you the schematic diagram along with specs for your reference so that you can help me in this. Many thanks for your kind support and help. I will keep you posted on the updates.
