I would like to track three temperatures, perhaps with a digital DS18B20 digital sensor.  I have Labview Home; just getting to know it.  I see the NI USB6501 as a possible interface, would this be suitable?

6501 is software-timed, and won't have the timing necessary to communicate with the device.

Probably need a cRIO or higher-end digital I/O device from NI to do that... or try an Arduino. (There's LV toolkits for Arduino, as well as a 1-wire utility from NI.)

Arduino is one way that had originally occured to me.  Having trouble interfacing arduino with labview at the moment.  Dissappointed in how cryptic it seems
