usb webcam for monitoring my room

hello people i´ll make a project with labview and my usb webcam for monitoring my room. at first i have labview 8.0 and i installed the usb library and i need more things to install?? like a  Vision Assitant?? or it comes with labview 8.0?? or how to adquired it? And if i ´ll get all this drivers Can somebody post a webcam program for prove if my usb webcam is working well?

Finally Can you said me step by step what I should do?? THANKSSSS!!!

Pd: If somebody make something like my project say me or help i very appreciate it
