usb driver for a new device which doesn't have windows driver

Hi All,

I am new to Labview.

I want to make USB driver in labview for my device.

The device does not have windows driver.

Is it possible to make driver using VISA only for any USB device??

Or I must have windows driver for it, and then only i can communicate for the device???

I am having NI-DAQ, MAX and using LabVIEW8.5.

Please anyone can help..
