unable to open WinCE file with LV PDA module

Labview PDA module 8.2.

I'm new to this and wrote a quick test app that works on my PDA.  I made a change to the labview file and tried to get it to compile and download but get about half way through the Run sequence when i get the following message:

Error - Unable to open WinCE file.

I am clueless as to what is going on.  Any help is appreciated.

The only time I have seen this error was when the VI you are trying to deploy is already running on the PDA. You might want to check and make sure that you have stopped its executaion before deploying again.

I think that was my problem or was related to it.  Although not running, the vi seemed to be hung in that I couldn't delete the executable file from the PDA either.  I could, however, rename it.  Once I did that, I was able to continue.  I chalked it up to goblins playing with my inexperience.
