I tried to install LABVIEW 8.2.1 silently by seeing instructions given on the NI website, the follwing code when made as a batch file doen't work
setup.exe silent_install.txt /q /acceptlicenses yes /log ni2.log
to Install lab view silently after product key and user info provided in silent_install.txt in the bin folder of labview 8.2.1 i placed this batch file in the labview8.2.1 folder and silent_install.txt in the same place.
I tried the same code without silent_insall.txt and it stopped saying product key not found.
I also tried to keep the silent_install.txt in the bin folder of labview 8.2.1 and used the entire path to get to silent_install.txt but that to dint work.
please suggest how cqan I make it to work and where do I keep the silent _install file?
