I always as people to prepare a Requirements Specs for a software project. That way people know exactly what the software should do.. Annd even include a section to cover potential future improvements and new features. Features will always creep in.
Now concerning your post. We have no clue what you actually want to achive. What are your inputs and what type of outputs (data) you want to have and how it is stored. Then I suggest you break down the project into smaller manageable pieces where we can help you to implement solutions (pieces of code). I've been bitten in the butt before on this forum by providing too much code... We can help you but not do your work.
