subvi nodes not show up

Hi, I have written a subvi to obtain current at a specific voltage. But when I tried to put it in a for loop to obtain I-V curves,I found no nodes were available for wiring (voltage input, current read out et cl). It doesn't happen when I use subvi from instrument driver lib. Is there any trick to make the nodes in your own subvi visible? Thank you.

Yes ther is a "trick" no it is not a trick but the way that it has to be done. what you have to do is right click on the icon in the top right hand corner of your vi. then select show connector. It is probably blank on yours, then all you have to do is click on one of the inputs and then click on the control or indicator that you want at that point. Just remember when creating a subvi all controls will be inputs and all indicators will be outputs. also a good rule of thumb is to put inputs (controls) on the left and outputs (indicators) on the right.

The manual states this also.
