I just wrote my first vi in LabVIEW 8.5. Is it just my imagination, or did it get much more user friendly since 7.0. Seems to me that I this is the first time I didn't spend a lot of time rewiring the input after creating the sub vi. Or, was I just lucky.
I'd better be better after a year of 4 of development
I think you refer to the fact that a new VI has a 4-2-2-4 pane? Besides that super function (an 8.0) you can set in LV 8.5 to make connector pane-items required by default!
You can make the inputs required in 8.2 as well (required, recommended and optional, where the difference between recommended and optional is how it shows up in the little help popup [ctrl-H] )
