strain gauge

Does anyone have a decent example of a strain gauge set-up?  I built a one-string guitar with a strain gauge attached to the end and I want to be able to read the strain.  Any ideas?

Hi KenSen,

Thank you for posting on the National Instruments forum.  Here is a Developer Zone document that will give you some options for measuring strain.  You can click on each module, and within the description paragraph for each device there's a link to the product page.  On that product page, there's a customize link that will help you build the system you need to read strain.  It also goes into detail how strain guages work.
