In the labview options (tools -->options-->block diagram) check the box that says "Place subVIs as expandable"
for any VIs that you want to view like that, you can right click and uncheck "view as Icon".  You can drag the lower part of the box to expose the terminals

Did that and still the same picture. Then I was trying comparing two VIs and all the checks that the "bad" one has, the "good" has as well. I have no idea what is wrong with this.

After you have done Stradis's instructions, take a screen shot.  Save it has .png and post it.  Post your modified .VI.  And describe again what you are looking for and why what you have isn't it.
