spectral peak detections using Labview 8.6 + Ocean Optics usb2000

Hello all knowing NI Discussion Board

i am trying to detect the highest peak in a spectral reading and determine the wavelength that the peak occurs at.  which i am getting from my Ocean opitcs USB2000 spectrometer.

having very little labview experiance, can anyone help as to how i could achive this?

hi

this is rather complex for "very little labview experience". 

however, I suggest you to do it step by step. first, try to get the data from the Ocean Optics, either directly (make a search here, you will find you will need a dll), or from a DX file.

Then, after you achieved this, one can try to detect peaks .. post what you did and ask what you need and people here will give a hand.
