simulation interface toolkit initialization error 43

I have just installed Labview 8.5 with SIT 4.0.  I am trying to run a vi that I created in Labview 8.2, but I am getting "Error 43 occurred at SIT Initialization - possible reason: No Valid Model File Specified."

I've tried re-running the connection manager, and reinserting the SignalProbe into my simulink model, but no change.  Any ideas?  Much Thanks,

D.

Hi Dianek,

Your Host VI is used to run your model or model dll on an RT target. The error message that you are getting could mean that the model that you are specifying is not at that location anymore or if you changed the name, then you would check on that as well.

The below documents explain about the SIT Server:

Components of Simulation

Did the VI + model work in 8.2?

Is this the first time you working with the model?

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, it worked in 8.2.

I tried re-running the SIT connection manager, but still yielded the same error.  I have worked around the problem by copying and pasting the front panel into a new vi, and then launching the SIT connection manager, and all is well.
