shut off Analog Output Channel after sampling

Hello, Community,

I am trying to use the Analog output channel as my voltage source.  At the same time I would like to shut it off automatically after I am done with the test.

Setting the channel back to zero does not actually set it to zero.  0.6mv still remains.

do you have any idea how i can accomplish this?

Daq card is 6052E
Test box is SCB-68
Precision multimeter is Keithley 2000
Labview 7.0

thank you,

0.6mv = 600 uV (microvolts) is not much, is it present when all connections to external devices have been removed? Is is pure DC or could it be AC noise? What happens if you program output of DAC to -0.0006V?

thanks for the reply.

the connections are not removed.  the idea is to pause between each voltage step and betweent trial.  it is mostly DC with some noise flutter.

i'll try the -.0006

thank you.

I was asking if the volatge was still present with the connections removed in order to verify if the voltage is coming from the DAQ card and not your external devices.
