search string+data

Hi,I want to search some certain strings in data files.But I have no idea to do it.Who can show me some examples?Thank u very much.

The modern way is to use Google desktop search. Old farts would use grep. If you want a LV solution then you do it in two steps.
Read the file into a string, use Read Crharacters.
Search in the string using match pattern found in the string palette. It’s really easy.
