I am working on a system that will include the sb RIO 9602 as the controller. We want to monitor the temperature inside the enclosure. The RIO board has a temperature sensor that is referred to as the chassis temperature. Reading this temperature, it is clearly higher than ambient. Where is the temperature sensor and what is it measuring the temperature of?
Thanks,
Bruce

Hi,
Did you convert the value of the FPGA node to get the temperature, like described here?

Yes, I have done the conversion and believe the reported value. I'm wondering what exactly is this the temperature of. Is the sensor in the FPGA, or somewhere else on the board?

The temperature is in °C and its the U23 chip at the underside of the sbRIO.

May I ask why do you mark your answer as solution?

Sorry, my mistake! It should have been marked on your reply regarding U23 on the bottom of the board.
