you are right, .lvm is a file that only includes the measurement data. If I undestand you right, you are looking for a way to save a picture of your graph.
you can do this with the report vis. Allthough they were designed to create a printable report you can also create HTML files and attach images of your controls to them.
For problems concerning the usage of the report VIs together with the DAQmxBase driver, refer to your other threads in the forum.
There is another solution as well, making use of VI or control methods. you can create an image of your frontpanel or any control and savi it as a file. The attatched vi shows you how it works. It creates a screenshot of the complete frontpanel and saves it as a jpg file.
