sampling time in labview of usb connection from tektronix oscilloscope

hello, im using a usb connection to transfer the data to the PC from a tektronix 2024b oscilloscope.
2500 points come in each time from the scope, the sampling independent of the scope time setting.

When i run the program at full tilt, ie, no plotting, in labview 8.5, i get about 1 set of 2500 points each second.

Ideally i need around 100 samples of the 2500 points in one second.

I would like to know what is the rate limitation.
Its probably the oscilloscope i guess, but cant find the usb speed in their manual.

This most probably has to do with a limitation of the oscilloscope. I would contact tektronix to check what the maximum number of points per second that can be sent over the USB port is.
