sample and save data from input voltage within a window

I am trying to right a program which continuosly samples and saves data but only data which is within a window (say from a few milli volts to a couple of volts) Since the data collection is long, want to make sure that we don's save junk only good data.  I have NI-5122 in PXI-8106.  I do have the NI-Scope as well.

I would suggest using a window trigger. This DevZone Document, Triggering with High-Speed Digitizers , explains a windows trigger.
