record and play sound at same time

Hi, i have made an electronic guitar. I can where I can just play a sound (play button) or record a sound (play button and record button) But when I recorded a sound, I must end the VI, save the sound, restart the VI and then play the sound...
Can somebody help me and let me play a recorded sound while still running the VI???

And I've got an other question....
I've got two VI's , and now I want to make a VI where I can choose wich VI I want to run... But the front pannel of this must be on my screen. Know what I meen?

I have a look to your file. But i'm a little bit troubled by your file. Maybe do some SubVI's to make your problem easier to understand... Can you give more information about the different part of our Vi ???

Hello Richard,

We took a look at your file, and made some changes. We have added a save button. The record button is just to remind the song you created without saving it on your computer. If you haven't pushed the record button, nothing of what you're playing will be 'remembered'

However, the "Save button"  saves your last recorded song in a file on your computer and doesn't play the recorded melody.
