For counter measurments (which is what I assume you mean), there are a lot of shipping examples. There are some for both DAQmx and traditional DAQ. Open the NI Example finder and from the Browse tab, select Hardware Input and Output>DAQmx>Counter Measurements or Hardware Input and Output>Traditional DAQ>Counters>DAQ-STC. There is also chapter 13 of the LabVIEW Measurments Manual (Help>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf). If you are having a specific problem, please post back with additional details.
