programatically hide run and abort button

I'm trying to have the run and abort buttons shown when i'm in the LV development software but when my user is running the application i'd like to remove the run and abort button. Attached I have how i'm trying to accomplish this with a property node, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have a similar disable diagram  that works like this to quit labview on exit only if its in an application.

Just don't show the toolbar when running:

I think you could've gotten by by selecting "top level" instead of "customize".  I think it does the same thing.  One less click - even simpler!  😄
