programatically Setting SCXI-Gain

I would like to programatically make settings on the SCXI 1520 Strain Gauge module. When i want to set SCXI Gain with AI parameter.vi iam wiring the gain value i require to float in parameter,but i get an error such as "numeric Parameter is invalid",what could be the reason?

With NI-DAQmx you can get and set the gain for specific SCXI channels using the DAQmx Channel Property Node->Analog Input:General Properties:Advanced:Gain:Gain Value Property.
