You said you are changing from P III to P4. Have you hyperthreading enabled? This could cause a problem. With the upcomming P4 NI states that LV is not save on hyperthreaded or multi processor boards. I'm not sure if this was solved with LV 7.0 and NI-DAQ 7.0 or with LV 7.1 and NI-DAQ 7.1.
You can try to disable hyperthreading in the BIOS so your P4 will act as a single processor machine.
