problems with 'peak detection'

I am doing a continuous data acquistion and i wish to measure peaks in my signal and i am using the peak detector subVI but as i am acquiring and visualizing my signal, i dont have any values in the array of peaks and amplitudes.
I d like to know if i can use this subVI in a while loop in with a continuous data acquisition.

The only thing wrong I can see with your vi is that you haven't wired an indicator to the output of the peak detect vi. Your graphs on the front panel are wired to the raw data. I have used the peak detect vi and know that it works fine. Wire up a 1D array and a threshold value and it will output the array index and amplitude of every peak above the threshold. Wiring a waveform GRAPH (NOT a waveform chart) to the output terminal(s) of the peak detection vi will display the data.
