problems re-installing a NI pci 6023e

Hello,
I am trying to re-install a pci-6023e-board on my computer after a system corruption. After the hardware and software installation, I found that PCI Serial Port is unavailable.

The board can not be detected by the measurement&automation-explorer and got a message “

      Status code: - 209852

      The NI-DAQmx API no longer supports specified devices.

      Visit ni.com/info and enter the information code: daqmx191eol

Are there any ideas, to solve this ?

If the manual for this board is about 20 years old, then the board is also probably that old.  That's a very long time to maintain backward Driver compatibility.

There are two possible solutions.  The "best" is to simply purchase a "modern" version of this board, which will almost surely out-perform it, possibly at a (relatively) lower price.  The other (possible) solution is to create a LabVIEW system that contains no components more than, say, 10 years after the board was manufactured, say LabVIEW 2010, or thereabouts.  Note that this will probably also require you to use Windows 7.
